Hamilton "Endicott"

At only 26mm in diameter (just over and inch), this watch is smallish and probably more suited for a lady even though it was sold as a man's watch. The gold filled case is in nice shape, and I just love the original dial. There are tiny points of wear on a couple of the lugs that can be seen with magnification. $235.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "GS Tropical"

Also known as the 6BB, the GS ["General Service"] watches were specifically made for the UK's General Services. They were actually issued to Government personnel that were not Military. These watches were used by a number of Government agencies overseas, Foreign and Commonwealth Office aid groups helping with education and health stuff like that from the mid 60's to the late 70's. They also acted as a cover for a number of former military men who helped nations organise their own security and law enforcement on behalf of HM Government.

The G.S. Tropical seems to have been a specially sealed series of watches for use in tropical climates. They are marked "Tropical" on the stainless steel case back, These are rarer than the standard G.S. watches. The case and movement appear to be the same for both watches. The Tropical does not have the broadarrow found on military watches of Great Britain. The case is 36mm in diameter and in good condition except for some shallow scratches from a bad case opening attempt. Please note that the dial luminous has been amateurishly overpainted most likely to restore the luminocity. This is a very difficult one to find and the heavy case has a great feel. $745.00 Glossary

Longines--Black Dial

This is quite a "looker". Longines is still making great watches today. This is a 10k gold filled model with a 17 jewel 370 movement. The stunning black dial [redial] shows minor bubbling that does not show when wearing. The 29mm case is wonderful condition with only a little wear showing on back at the case opening nub. $225.00 Glossary Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!

Omega 18K

Wow. An 18K yellow gold Omega manual wind. The dial has been redone, and the watch has been overhauled. The soft gold of the back show lines where a band has worn into the gold. Fixed lugs mean an early version. $725.00 Glossary Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!

Omega Seamaster 30

This is an early version of the Seamaster. It is signed on the dial, crown, and 35mm stainless steel case. The seamaster logo is on the back of the case. The manual wind movement is clean and keeps good time. $425.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Thinline 3001"

Let's see. Solid 10K yellow gold, mint condition, vintage 1968 Hamilton with great design. The automatic movement keeps accurate time. The only other thing you need is a great price. Again, my great purchase leads to your great bargain. There are three script initials on the back. $425.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Vardon"

The Vardon is one of the earlier stainless steel cased watches that Hamitlon made. It was introduced in 1949, and is of the small size of that period, measuring only 29mm in diameter. The "CLD" [pronounced "sealed"] on the dial was an attempt to have a water and dust proof watch. It was not a very successful attempt by the way. The one is all original, including the aged original dial. $215.00 SOLD Glossary
