Hamilton "Secometer"

Look at the condition of this one. The small [29mm] yellow gold filled Secometer and the Sentinel are almost identical. This one sports a 987S movement with center seconds. When you pull out the crown to set the time, the watch stops. This is called a "hack" setting. Remember the movies when the commandos sync their watches? This is how. $235.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Thinomatic T-403"

Hamilton gained some great notoriety with its asymmetric watch cases. The T-403 is gorgeous and rare. It was introduced in 1960. This beauty is in very nice all original condition. The two tone dial is also asymmetrical, and coordinates with the fin-like sweeps on the yellow gold filled case. The movement is automatic and Swiss made for Hamilton. A true collector piece. $1055.00 SOLD Glossary

Tiffany by Movado

This Tiffany watch is marked on the dial with both the Tiffany name and Movado logo. I have sold several Tiffany watches with Movado fine movements, but none of the others had the Movado logo on the dial. The 33mm case is solid 14K yellow gold, and completely hallmarked inside the caseback. The dial is evenly aged and give a great vintage look. It has been serviced, and is ready to give years of pleasure. This has a manual movement, and there is an inscription and the date of 1959 on the back. $545.00 SOLD Glossary

Rolex Date Roman Dial

This Rolex Date watch has the Oyster case and the perpetual movement with a non-quickset date function. The case is reference 1500 and is about 34mm wide. The wonderful perfect Roman numeral dial is probably not original to the watch, but is authentic Rolex. It was made in 1966, and still runs like a champ. $1450.00 SOLD Glossary Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!

Omega 18K

This is a big [37mm], bold manual wind Omega with an 18K gold case. But, what a case! The claw shaped lugs are great, and really make this an unusual and rare watch. The dial has been redone to perfection. It has been recently serviced, and it is ready for you to wear. If you are looking for a special watch at a reasonable price, here it is. $875.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Haddon"

The Haddon was introduced in 1952, and is a modest 32mm. It is 10K yellow gold filled, and is one of the nicer round designs, with half round buds on the lugs. The perfect redial really jumps out at you. The case is uninscribed. $265.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Kirk"

The "Kirk" was first introduced in 1949. It has a solid 14K white gold case of 30mm, which has sculptured lugs and is in great condition. This is the first one I have ever had in white gold--it is rather rare. The white redial is perfect, as is the uninscribed case. The 17 jewel 747 movement keeps excellent time. A special value at $525.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Montclair II"

Let's see. Solid 14K yellow gold one piece case, great condition, vintage 1968 Hamilton with a simple and elegant design. The manual wind movement keeps accurate time. Again, my great purchase leads to your great bargain. There is a very worn inscription and the date of 1939 on the back. $415.00 ON HOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Paige"

The Paige was first produced in 1941, and is a beuatiful little watch. The emphasis here is "little". Although advertised as a men's watch, it is only 25mm wide--about 1 inch. I think is is best suited as a ladies watch, and is cross listed in both categories. The 14K yellow gold filled case is in excellent condition as is the dial which has been refinished. The back is tastefully inscribed with three initials. $225.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Parker"

The Parker was introduced in 1955, and this one has an inscription from 1956. The picture does not come near to doing it justice. It is a big, bright watch in nearly perfect condition. The 10k solid yellow gold case is an eye catcher with the wonderful lugs. It sports a 22 jewel 770 movement with incablock shockproofing. The dial has been refinished true to the original. $425.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Square Plain"

This watch was first introduced in 1923 and has a nice yellow gold filled case. It is one of only 977! The original dial is has a nice aged patina. The hands have some lost luminous, and the look is nice. There is no brassing anywhere on the case. It is very difficult to find a case this nice. An absolutely wonderful old and rare one. Your neighbor won't have one like it. $435.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Sutton"

I never tire of the long-bodied Hamilton retangulars. The Sutton was introduced in 1936, and the long tube lugs and inset crown make it unique. The case is in particularly nice condition without brassing even though these are prone to showing their wear. The dial appears to be roriginal. If finding an all original classic watch without "like new" restorations is what you want this is the watch for you. It is 44mm from tip to tip. $425.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Trevor"

If you find that many of the earlier tanks are too small, try this bigger square yellow rolled gold plate model. At 28mm square, it is large for a vintage tank style. The back is of stanless steel for lasting wear. The dial is textured with circles radiating out from the center. $235.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Lord Lancaster L"

This solid gold manual wind watch is quite elegant. The moderately sized watch has a textured bezel and a clean classic redial that is true to the original. The design is late sixties, and the look would be great for a little more formal occasion. $455.00 SOLD Glossary

Elgin Shockmaster

This lovely Elgin tank is most likely from the 50's. The gold filled case is great condition showing only one point of wear on the back of one lug. The redial is two tone and really sets the watch off nicely. It has been serviced and is ready to wear. $235.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Essex-Coral"

I was so pleased to finally get another nice essex. Well, nice is an understatement. They are rare in this condition [they tend to have brassing on the lugs]. They are even more special in pink gold--I see so few of these with the coral/pink gold, original copper dial, and 18K white gold numerals and hands. This is not a large watch, but it wears larger because of the tube lugs. $395.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Foster"

This rare Foster was introduced in 1939 and is made of solid 14K yellow gold. I have wanted to present one of these for a long time, and now I finally have one for you. It is 42mm long making it second only to the Gilman for length of a solid gold Hamilton. The bezel is stepped and the stepping follows though the lugs. There is a distinctive "bend" to the lugs, maybe so it would not be confused with the Linwood. $815.00 ON HOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Gilbert"

Introduced in 1941, the Gilbert is as sleek and modern as any watch made today--and this one is a beauty. The 14K yellow solid gold case is immaculate, and the original dial is aged a little, and very nice. The 980 movement ticks great. It is inscribed with a name and dated Dec. 17-41..what a great Christmas present! $475.00

Gruen Veri-Thin

I'm not really sure what I like best about this watch. The gold filled rose gold case is is bright and in excellent condition front and back. Even the crown is rose gold. The dial is spectacular. It is two tone copper and original with some aging that does not detract from its beauty. The hand are skeletonized, and probably had a color fill when originally made. Although of a moderate size, this watch still packs a punch. $275.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Clark"

The Clark is one of those watches that define "vintage." The case is long and narrow, and makes a wonderful statement. Clarks are rare and hard to find, and differ from the Yorktowne only by the hands. The dial is restored, and the case is very nice but shows a little splitting and wear through on the lugs and back corners of the case. The glass crystal is perfect. $325.00 SOLD

Hamilton "Cushion Form" 14K White Gold

This is hard to find in solid gold, and even harder when it is white gold. The dial has been redone and is exactly like the original. Although not a large watch, will make a wonderful timepiece for someone. It has no engravings or inscription on the back. $685.00 SOLD

Bulova Yellow Gold Fill

Wow! I just love wild cases like this yellow gold colored stunner. It is not marked for gold content, but is most likely gold fill or rolled gold plate. It has a stainless steel back for long wearing. The dial appears to be original and is in extrememly nice condition for its age. I would guess that this one dates from the late 50's or 60's. $255.00 SOLD Glossary

Hamilton "Grover"

This Grover has as its most outstanding feature some wonderful lugs that curve to a point. The case is 10k gold filled and the movement is the later 752. It was introduced by Hamilton in 1949, and has a really nice balance between being smart and funky. You will have people notice and comment on this vintage dazzler. The two tone redial is perfect and the case is in wonderful condition with only the tiniest points of brassing that can be seen only with a loupe. $335.00 SOLD Glossary
